What Youu2019ll Do In this role, you will provide support to the legal team across employment and other litigation matters. Your responsibilities will include managing document production and filing, organizing case materials and knowledge systems, assisting with eDiscovery, conducting research, drafting correspondence, reviewing documents and tracking legal matters and deadlines diligently. You will also play a key role in streamlining and enhancing our legal processes, including through automation and AI solutions. As a trusted member of the litigation team, you will be heavily relied on by in-house counsel, making your contributions vital to our success. Who Youu2019ll Work With You will collaborate closely with the employment law team, other in-house legal counsel and our legal operations team, as well as other key stakeholders within Teradata such as the People, Finance and Go-To-Market organizations. The Law Organization is responsible for proactively managing legal disputes and potential claims, overseeing and coordinating outside counsel to ensure strategic alignment and cost efficiency, and developing litigation strategies that advance the organizationu2019s business objectives. In this role, you will report directly to the Vice President of Law and Lead Employment & Litigation Counsel. What Makes You a Qualified Candidate + Bacheloru2019s degree. + Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department. + Solid understanding of employment litigation processes and eDiscovery best practices. + Proficiency with e-filing in state and federal courts. + Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail. + Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while working independently and collaboratively within a team. What Youu2019ll Bring + Prior experience working at a leading national law firm or highly regarded boutique firm preferred. + Demonstrated experience leveraging AI and automation tools in legal workflows. + Strong understanding of local court rules, filing deadlines, calendaring and filing court documents. + Proficiency in legal research, drafting and terminology. + Experience implementing and administering legal holds, including proficiency with legal hold software. + Experience working with eDiscovery platforms to manage document review and production. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Expertise in formatting and preparing legal documents. + High integrity, professionalism, and a positive, collaborative attitude. + Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information. + Proven ability to deliver high-quality work with strong follow-up and follow-through. + Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision. + Exceptional time management and knowledge management skills. + Proficient in file management and record keeping. Pay Rate: 84,000.00 - 105,000.00 - 126,000.00 Annually Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on geographic location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and candidate experience. Sales roles will be eligible for commission payments tied to quota achievement. All other permanent roles will be eligible for one of our annual incentive plans, which are based on company financial attainment and individual performance.
