Description We are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Analyst to provide efficient technical support for a paper and packaging industry client located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This is a long-term contract position that requires onsite presence to ensure seamless operations and assist in resolving IT-related challenges. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining hardware and software systems while delivering exceptional service to users. Responsibilities: u2022 Diagnose and address basic IT issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations. u2022 Prepare and configure PCs and laptops through imaging and setup processes. u2022 Set up and maintain workstations, ensuring proper functionality and accessibility. u2022 Install and connect printers and other hardware devices to the network. u2022 Perform routine troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues. u2022 Conduct hardware upgrades and installations to meet evolving user needs. u2022 Provide technical support for software installations and resolve application-related problems. u2022 Assist in maintaining a data center environment, ensuring optimal system performance. u2022 Deliver desktop support by addressing user concerns and resolving technical issues. u2022 Collaborate with team members to enhance IT service delivery and improve system reliability. Requirements u2022 Proficiency in laptop hardware configuration and maintenance. u2022 Experience with imaging and setting up laptops and PCs. u2022 Strong technical support skills, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues. u2022 Knowledge of hardware and software installation processes. u2022 Familiarity with upgrading systems and maintaining hardware functionality. u2022 Ability to connect and troubleshoot printers and other peripheral devices. u2022 Competence in addressing software installation and application-related concerns. u2022 Previous experience in desktop support within an environment requiring attention to detail.
