Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. (YAP) is a national nonprofit dedicated to providing community-based alternatives to youth incarceration, out-of-home placements, and other institutional care. We empower young people and families to thrive within their communities through individualized services and direct mentorship. Our part-time Advocates provide mentorship and support tailored to each youth and family, serving as positive role models with flexible scheduling that meets families where they are.?Hourly, Part-Time position serving youth and families throughout Adams, Denver, Arapahoe, Jefferson, and Weld counties are available. The primary responsibility of the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
