Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a Process Engineer job for our direct client in Newington, NH. In this role, the Process Engineer will support all areas of Power Conductor and Manufacturing, including procedure development, operator and supervisor training, process improvement initiatives, troubleshooting process issues, evaluation of non-conforming product, and maintenance support. This position will coordinate technical discussions for assigned processes and support existing Engineering personnel. Candidates must be willing and able to work any shift. Process Engineer job responsibilities: Monitor daily operations for conformance to standard process specifications Provide hands-on support of manufacturing processes Maintain equipment responsibility for optimized process settings Troubleshoot process problems and document corrective actions Assist in training production personnel on new products, equipment, and processes Conduct departmental trials, including data gathering and analysis Ensure all database information and reporting is timely and accurate Identify trends and resolve discrepancies using standard procedures or in collaboration with the engineering team Remedy malfunctions in collaboration with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production Assist the department in the startup and evaluation of new products and processes Work with Process Engineers to implement process improvements Assist in production tool maintenance, improvements, and corrective actions Identify and report safety issues through proper channels Process Engineer job qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering or related science preferred Three years of directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of degree Two years of additional relevant industrial experience preferred Experience troubleshooting industrial processes Knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems Detailed and methodical approach to problem solving Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Ability to work effectively and respectfully with associates at all levels Strong computer skills including spreadsheet and desktop applications Ability to use mechanical and electrical measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and multi-meters Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles preferred Knowledge of mill tooling preferred but not required Strong mechanical proficiency required Regular attendance required; overtime may be required based on business needs Willingness and ability to work any shift, including weekends If you are interested in this Process Engineer job in Newington, NH, please apply now to be connected with a member of our team.
