What You'll Do: + Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing directions, coordinating with site leadership, and contacting local emergency services when needed. + Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify hazards, and report maintenance or operational concerns. + Monitor access points and controlled areas, assist with visitor management as directed by site policy, and support a respectful environment through de-escalation and conflict resolution techniques. + Complete required documentation such as activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts, and participate in required briefings and training. Minimum Requirements: + A valid driveru2019s license is required in the state where the job is located. + Guard card/license is preferred. + Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred. + Access control/badge experience is preferred. + Loss prevention is preferred. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driveru2019s license will be required for driving positions only.
