Description Robert Half Management Resources is currently looking for an experience real estate industry senior Finance resource or CFO to support a client in the Columbus, OH area. Client is open to a fractional resource or someone interested in potential contract to hire. Role will provide full-range of Finance support to a real estate management and development company. This role will be both hands on and strategic, providing key financial insights to the management team while also being hands-on building excel models, budgets, and forecasts. Worksite for this role is 100% onsite at the client's location on the east side of Columbus. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations. u2022 Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency. u2022 Assist in gathering financial information for tax filings and ensure timely completion of Form 1099s. u2022 Maintain compliance with HR policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to regulations. u2022 Handle common area maintenance (CAM) passthroughs and ensure proper financial tracking. u2022 Provide financial restructuring and organizational support as needed to optimize company operations. u2022 Support underwriting functions by assessing risks and analyzing the financial feasibility of real estate investments. u2022 Collaborate with the President and Accounting Supervisor to manage financial activities across multiple properties/entities. u2022 Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial reporting and cash flow analysis. u2022 Utilize business systems effectively to streamline financial processes, with flexibility to learn new systems like Skyline. Requirements u2022 At least 10 years of experience in financial management, preferably within real estate or property management. u2022 Strong expertise in cash flow analysis, capital management, and financial reporting. u2022 Proficiency in month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations. u2022 Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable operations. u2022 Familiarity with tax filings, including income tax returns and Form 1099 preparation. u2022 Ability to manage financial activities across multiple entities and ensure accurate reporting. u2022 Effective communication and collaboration skills for working closely with a small team.
