Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client in Columbus, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position that offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment handling high-volume transactions. The role requires attention to detail and a strong ability to manage full-cycle accounts payable processes efficiently. Responsibilities: u2022 Process high volumes of accounts payable transactions with accuracy and efficiency. u2022 Ensure proper coding of invoices and account entries to maintain financial accuracy. u2022 Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and oversee check runs. u2022 Verify and reconcile invoice details, ensuring compliance with company policies. u2022 Utilize D365 software to streamline accounts payable operations. u2022 Collaborate with vendors to resolve payment discrepancies and inquiries. u2022 Maintain organized records of all accounts payable activities. u2022 Assist in month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable. u2022 Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function. u2022 Support the accounting team with additional tasks as needed. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable operations, including high-volume processing. u2022 Strong knowledge of invoice coding and account reconciliation. u2022 Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and check runs. u2022 Proficiency in using D365 software for accounting processes. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Strong communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams. u2022 Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
