Complete timely and accurate documentation and coding of visits. Evaluate and triage dermatology consult requests to ensure timely care for Veterans. Perform excisional or diagnostic skin biopsies and other minor dermatologic procedures, including cryotherapy, incision and drainage, and intralesional injections. Perform excisions of skin lesions, if desired. Conduct telemedicine visits. Review images from a store-and-forward teledermatology program to make treatment recommendations and determine urgency of face-to-face evaluations. Perform administrative tasks as assigned and required, such as peer reviews and online learning modules. Maintain up-to-date review and correspondence within email and EHR inboxes. Attend staff meetings as requested. Complete CME required to maintain competency in Dermatology and medical licensure. Complete mandatory VA onboarding trainings in a timely manner.
