In this positionu2026 This on-site, operational role is integral to our security organization, responsible for executing a broad range of critical security functions to safeguard Ford's personnel and assets. As a Security Generalist, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the safety and security of executives, employees, and visitors across various Ford Properties, including executive floors and facilities. This dynamic position demands the ability to exercise independent judgment, adapt swiftly to diverse operational needs, protect sensitive information, and maintain constant vigilance. Hours for this role will be in Shifts What you'll dou2026 + Provide access control, personnel protection, and emergency response for executives, executive assistants, and visitors to the executive floors + Provide access control, building security, and emergency response to employees and visitors within Ford Properties + Provide security services, including monitoring of security cameras and specialized equipment. Conduct foot patrols of interior and exterior areas and report unusual observations + Provide driving services for top level executives + Monitor fire and security alarm systems, access control systems, and radio communication systems + Provide emergency notifications to all levels of management and key personnel + Review, maintain, and compile daily activity logs, as required + Protect company classified and sensitive information with confidentiality + Demonstrate the ability to function under pressure, including stressful emergency situations (i.e. medical, fire, security, or other life-threatening incidents) + Must be able to support different roles and responsibilities within the organization such as Executive Security Driver, Residential Security, and Executive Security Coordinator + Must be able to work off-shifts, weekends, holidays, and change shifts + Must be available to work 24/7, 365 days a year Youu2019ll haveu2026 + High School Diploma or GED + 5+ years of experience in law enforcement or military + Possess a Concealed Pistol License (CPL) or meet the state requirements to obtain one within 1 month from hire date, and demonstrate firearm proficiency as a condition of hire + Possess a valid Driveru2019s license and clean driving record + Proficient using computers, Microsoft Windows and Office applications Even better, you may haveu2026 + Bachelor's degree + 5+ years experience in corporate security, knowledge of security operations + CPR/AED certification + Possess a Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) or meet the requirements to obtain one within 1 month from date of hire + Demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills + Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice.
