Job Description

Job Title: Cycle Counter Job Description The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels through scheduled and ad hoc cycle counts. This role ensures materials, parts, and finished goods are properly accounted for, supporting smooth production flow and minimizing inventory discrepancies. Responsibilities + Perform daily cycle counts according to established schedules and priorities. + Conduct targeted counts for high-value, fast-moving, or problem-prone items. + Verify inventory quantities, locations, lot codes, and part identification. + Reconcile physical counts with system quantities in the ERP/WMS. + Document and report all discrepancies. + Investigate root causes of inventory variances. + Work with production, receiving, shipping, and MP&L teams to resolve issues. + Recommend corrective and preventative actions to improve accuracy. + Enter cycle count adjustments into the ERP/WMS with proper documentation. + Ensure accuracy of all inventory transactions, including moves, usage, and receipts. + Maintain clean and organized item locations in the system and on the floor. Essential Skills + experience in inventory, warehousing, or manufacturing. + Basic understanding of inventory control principles + Proficiency with ERP or warehouse management systems. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Basic math and problem-solving ability. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in warehouse/production environments. You will be expected to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs (non-repetitive), and stoop. These are first-shift indoor roles. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grenada, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
