Job Title: CNC Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with extensive experience in CNC lathe and mill setup and operation, specifically focused on milling various metals such as stainless steel, tool steels, bronze, carbon steel, and aluminum. This role requires a self-starter who is proficient in reading drawings and blueprints, possesses excellent attention to detail, and can follow stringent directions. Responsibilities + Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills for various metal milling tasks. + Perform basic G code programming and editing. + Conduct setups, prove simple programs, and make necessary edits. + Work primarily with Fanuc controlled CNC vertical machining centers. + Engage in occasional conventional machining tasks as needed. + Provide quick turnaround for customer projects in a job shop environment. Essential Skills + Minimum 2-3 years of experience in CNC setup and operation. + Proficiency in G code programming and editing. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings. + Experience with BobCAD programming is advantageous. + Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, and Hurco mills.
