Division:Turner Shared ServicesProject Location(s):Cincinnati, OH 45202 USAMinimum Years Experience:1Travel Involved:0-10%Job Type:RegularJob Classification:ExperiencedEducation:Bachelors DegreeJob Family:FinanceCompensation:Salaried Non-ExemptPosition Description: Enter timesheet data, compute and record earnings owed to employees, calculate deductions, and maintain employee master payroll data.Reports to: Accounting Manager, PayrollEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Input timesheet data into payroll system daily.Maintain payroll files, including filing, scanning and shredding.Enter off-cycle payments as required.Maintain and review employee garnishments.Respond timely to employee inquiries.Assist other payroll staff in completion of payroll data maintenance.Respond to requests for income verification.Setup and maintain weekly employee master data, including new hire and rehire maintenance.Process labor transfers.Create positive pay files and transmission of remittance stubs for direct deposits.Prepare payroll mailings to business units.Assist with payroll projects and initiatives.Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree preferred, 1 year recent payroll experience, multi-state payroll tax experience desired, or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experienceGeneral knowledge basic accounting principlesMust be accountable to escalate issues promptly, learn and apply knowledge quickly, and meet deadlinesMust be highly organized, detail oriented, maintain accuracy, and self-check workAble to work independently, with some oversight, and in team environmentMust follow established procedures and execute directions to completion without need of follow up by managementMust have good work ethic and integrity, dependable, adaptable, cooperative, and motivated to take on new responsibilitiesProfessional written and verbal communication and general office skillsProficiency with databases and computer applications, including MS Office, MS AccessMust have excellent data entry skills, to include 10 key pad proficiency with limited input errorsPhysical Demands: The physical demands describedhere are representative of those that must be met by an employee tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job.
