Description ICFu2019s Disaster Management Division is seeking a Senior Manager, Disaster Management for Disaster Recovery programs and projects. This position is 100% Remote in the United States, with expected travel and deployments. As part of our growing Disaster Management group, this position requires in-depth experience with the Department of Housing and Urban Developmentu2019s Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program and other disaster response and sheltering programs. The Senior Manager will work alongside Project Managers as well as subject matter experts, and junior staff to develop and implement policies and procedures for post-disaster recovery housing efforts including potentially supporting infrastructure, economic revitalization, and public services programs. Responsibilities will also include serving as an expert on policy and regulatory issues, developing written materials, managing staff, project management, providing training and technical assistance, and working directly with clients to provide advisory/consulting services. The Senior Manager, Disaster Management position will work together with project managers and program stakeholders to ensure the smooth performance of low, medium, and high-volume projects.
