Description ICFu2019s Disaster Management Division is seeking a Senior Manager, Disaster Management for Disaster Recovery programs and projects. This position is 100% Remote in the United States, with expected travel and deployments. As part of our growing Disaster Management group, this position requires in-depth experience with the Department of Housing and Urban Developmentu2019s Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program and other disaster response and sheltering programs. The Senior Manager will work alongside Project Managers as well as subject matter experts, and junior staff to develop and implement policies and procedures for post-disaster recovery housing efforts including potentially supporting infrastructure, economic revitalization, and public services programs. Responsibilities will also include serving as an expert on policy and regulatory issues, developing written materials, managing staff, project management, providing training and technical assistance, and working directly with clients to provide advisory/consulting services. The Senior Manager, Disaster Management position will work together with project managers and program stakeholders to ensure the smooth performance of low, medium, and high-volume projects. Offer based on % of job description match and location. Higher education and experience will not alter this range. Key Responsibilities: u2022 Assisting the V.P. and leadership in providing overall leadership to teams assisting and implementing post-disaster recovery efforts. u2022 Scheduling and assigning staff. u2022 Allocating resources, assessing risk and managing risk. u2022 Coordinating various components that contribute to the project as a whole to ensure on-time delivery. u2022 Ensuring that task deadlines are understood and achieved. u2022 Keeping all parties informed of progress and any outstanding issues. u2022 Oversight and management of subcontractors. u2022 Ensuring deliverables are completed compliantly, on schedule and of high quality. u2022 Validate progress and quality of Construction Managers performance, track and confirm noted items are addressed and regularly communicate results. u2022 Follow-up with staff, subcontractors and construction managers on expectations and progress of tasks. u2022 Assist project leadership and staff with client requests by providing data, reports and other required information and in ensuring quality control of all information provided. u2022 Following tight and changing deadlines with informed progress and outstanding issues. u2022 Serving as capture lead for assigned business development opportunities. u2022 Representing ICF in current and potential client meetings. u2022 Serving as technical and proposal lead. _Please provide a concise resume aligned with the qualifications, skills, and experience required._ Minimum Qualifications : u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree. u2022 8+ years of combined program and project management experience. u2022 5+ years of in-depth experience with the Department of Housing and Urban Developmentu2019s Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program. u2022 2+ years of experience project managing a successful high-volume housing recovery program. u2022 Able and willing to travel (flight and vehicle) for program needs as directed. u2022 Must have a valid U.S. driveru2019s license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
