An ASE-certified mechanic is a skilled automotive professional responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to meet manufacturer standards, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance.Key Responsibilities:Inspect engines, electrical and mechanical components, suspension, brakes, and electronic systems to accurately diagnose issues and perform necessary repairsConduct preventive maintenance such as oil changes, fluid replacements, lubrication, and inspection of vehicle systems to ensure longevity and functionalityReplace worn or faulty components, calibrate systems, and upgrade software or parts when necessary, often using diagnostic toolsMaintain detailed logs of work completed, repairs, and issues encountered; provide accurate estimates for cost, time, and effortAdhere to safety guidelines, environmental regulations, and company policies; participate in safety meetings; and use protective equipment as requiredCommunicate effectively with customers, explaining repair procedures, recommendations, and timelines for vehicle serviceEnsure tools, lifts, and diagnostic equipment are in proper working conditionPay:Will depend on experience; the employer will discuss with the applicant.Monthly Pay Plus Commission
