Adjust speed of cutters, blowers, conveyors, andweight of cutting head, using hand tools. Change cutting head asappropriate for crop. Drive heavy truck to transport produce to elevatoror storage area. Drive truck to haul harvesting machines between worksites. Make in-field repairs. Maintain machinery, i.e., Change fluids inequipment, rotate tires, clean grain bins, wash vehicles, check brakes,check tire pressure, general maintenance, etc. Grounds maintenance onfarm and/or housing. weed eating, mowing. Maintain/clean shop area.Other miscellaneous duties assigned & other related Ag EquipmentOperator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (). This jobinvolves manual labor, lifting, carrying, bending, and long days in theheat and cold. Rain days are typically spent in the shop repairingequipment and preparing for the next days work. Must communicate inEnglish, follow instructions, and be physically capable of performingall job duties. Crops: hay, grain.Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence isalso offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers,from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-uppoints to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday andback at the end of each work day.
