Job Summary:The IS&T Site Lead Engineer oversees all IT operations and infrastructure supporting Bechtel’s role in the Natrium advanced reactor project, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient technology services across project sites. This role defines and implements IT systems, manages service delivery, leads procurement and asset management, and supports project mobilization and user technical needs. The engineer develops automation workflows, governance metrics, and key IT management plans while ensuring compliance with corporate and project standards. This position is critical to enabling seamless execution of a large, multi‑partner EPC effort that will help shape the future of advanced nuclear energy.#LI-TN1 Major Responsibilities: Responsible for all IT operations and services for the Bechtel team on the project Provide IT operational/technical support and manage IT requirements and deliverables to support execution of the project Define IT infrastructure, network, and communications requirements for site offices. Develop complex IT reports, dashboards, and automates workflows. Coordinate IT plans with project team, contractors and client, and establish clear Divisions of Responsibility Establish relationships with IT vendors Support mobilization of project team - Asset management, imaging and provision of Bechtel computers, mobile phones and Microsoft 2FA. Setup network printers and scanners. Help Bechtel users connect to the network, printers, file server, applications, Teams and SharePoint, and resolve any technical issues. Develop metrics for IS&T performance and governance compliance. Manages automation, innovation and integration requirements with Bechtel, client and/or key stakeholders and disciplines. Provide input to technical scopes of work for contractors. Recommend process improvement solutions. Follow GBU and corporate processes for deploying approved applications. Development of IT support guides and user training. Adhere to Corporate, Bechtel Business Line and Project IT procedures, standards, and security requirements. Develop and maintain the Project Automation Plan, Disaster Recovery Plan, Software Application Portfolio, and project IT handover and Closeout plan. Define and set Project IT goals, schedules and divisions of responsibility Maintain Project IT budget and associated forecasts Responsible for IT procurement and asset management Respond to audits as required Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (orinternational equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevantexperience or 9-12 years of relevant workexperience Required Knowledge and Skills: Microsoft Fundamentals course(s) desirable Cisco CCNA desirable Microsoft MCSE desirable Experience on large scale EPC projects preferably in North America Excellent English oral and written communication skills and the ability to document technical processes required. Must have a good understanding of the major IT infrastructure systems (Microsoft domains, Cloud VPN, Virtual Servers, Caching File Servers, SDWAN, Teams Voice) and how to plan their implementation Ability to identify, track, escalate, and resolve problems using basic techniques and methods of troubleshooting end-user problems. Good SharePoint / Teams / Teams Voice / Office 365 skills Power-Bi and Power-App skills desirable Experience writing IT scope of work documents for IT systems Familiarity with various engineering, procurement and construction software is desirable Knowledge of the software and integration architecture for document management, project controls, Autodesk suite, workflows and dashboards.
