Much like each of our teammates, each one is an individual - and we embrace that.What You’ll Do:As a Condado Commissary Production Worker, you will be a vital lifeline for all products produced for our restaurants, producing 80-85% of the product that the restaurants receive. You will be responsible for preparation, processing and packaging of cold food and ingredients to be delivered to the restaurants. You will also be responsible for preventative maintenance of equipment and keeping a clean and safe working environment within the Commissary.*This position will be specifically for a morning opportunity (Starting at 7am) Shift Last 8-10+ hours based on end of business.Responsibilities:Operating cooking/processing equipment (Kettles, Chill Tanks, and large Dice/Slice Machines)Properly assemble and sanitize processing equipment on a daily basisWork independently and in small groups of 2-4Prepare meats, vegetables, + other food products for our restaurantsMeeting daily production goalsFollow recipes and food production operating proceduresHandle and inspect food and ingredients for freshnessMaintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in specified work areasEnsure quality assurance of all products producedEnsure food safety standards are in compliance with all local, state, and federal safety and health standards (OSHA compliance)Verify that prepared foods meet requirements for quality and quantityEnsure all equipment is maintained to the highest operating standards, including cleaning work counters, floors, etc.May use equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment.Maintains a fast and friendly work environmentQualifications:Prior experience in a manufacturing environment requiring repetitive work preferredBasic mechanical aptitude helpfulMust be able to read and comprehend instruction sheetsAbility to understand and follow directionsAbility to work cooperatively with a teamMust have visual, auditory, physical and mental ability to operate equipment safelyMust be 18 years of age or older to applyStrong oral and written communication skills (bilingual a plus!)Ability to work in an ever-changing environmentAbility to understand and follow directionsHave dependable transportationPhysical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this position, the team member is required to stand or walk to 4-8 hours at a time. Team members will continuously be performing hand and wrist work including grasping and bending and twisting. Team members will frequently push and pull and reach above the shoulder. Team members will frequently kneel or squat depending on the station.
