Position Title: Radiology Medical Imaging Technologist I – Perm Placement Location: Coos Bay, OR (Relocation and Sign-On Bonus Offered) Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Radiology Medical Imaging Technologist I to join our dedicated imaging team. This role involves performing a variety of diagnostic radiological procedures to support accurate patient diagnosis and care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality patient service. Key Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of medical imaging examinations, including X-rays, ensuring optimal image quality in accordance with safety protocols and department standards. Apply knowledge of clinical imaging principles, modalities, and techniques to produce reliable and diagnostic-quality images. Assist in maintaining the daily workflow of the imaging department, providing leadership and support to team members as needed. Adhere to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality guidelines to ensure a secure and respectful environment for patients and staff. Educate and communicate effectively with patients of all ages, explaining procedures and addressing concerns to promote comfort and cooperation. Document procedures, maintain patient records accurately, and ensure proper equipment calibration and maintenance. Qualifications & Certifications: ARRT certification in Radiology or equivalent credential. BLS certification required. Proven ability to operate imaging equipment and related office tools. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with patients. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating professionalism. Qualifications & Skills: Proficiency in the use of computers and relevant software applications. Ability to operate applicable imaging and office equipment efficiently. Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach. Valid VMS certification is preferred. Employment Details: This is a union position with a fixed hourly pay rate ranging from $30.00 to $45.00 based on experience—rate is non-negotiable.
