Job Summary:The Warehouse Manager is responsible for full lifecycle management of project materials—from receipt through storage, issuance, control, preservation, and disposition—ensuring compliance with Bechtel, NRC, and project‑specific requirements. This role provides leadership to warehouse personnel, manages storage facilities and laydown areas, ensures traceability, coordinates with Supply Chain, Construction, Quality, Field Engineering, and Project Controls, and maintains safe, efficient, and auditable warehouse operations. #LI-SF1Major Responsibilities: Oversee material receiving, inspection, documentation, and verification for all project materials, including safety-related and quality-classified items. Ensure all SR, NSRST and NSR permanent plant materials receive required inspections and that all documentation is complete, accurate, and fully traceable. Manage storage, handling, preservation, and issuance of materials in accordance with nuclear QA requirements and Bechtel storage classifications. Maintain custody, accountability, and configuration control of all materials, including segregation and controlled access for quality-classified and CGD items. Support Commercial Grade Dedication activities, including controlled receipt, segregation, documentation review, coordination of testing, and final acceptance. Maintain auditable inventory and material records, including MRRs, packing slips, test reports, certifications, manuals, and supplier documentation. Direct physical receipt (“kick and count”), inspection, and verification of incoming materials and ensure accurate entry into BPS. Identify, document, and manage over, short, and damaged (UOS&D) materials, coordinating with Engineering and Quality for proper disposition. Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Supplier Quality, and Project Controls to ensure materials meet all requirements prior to release. Oversee outbound shipping and transfers, ensuring proper documentation and chain-of-custody controls. Conduct warehouse self-assessments, inventory validations, and condition inspections; support annual physical inventories. Maintain control of reusable containers, industrial gas cylinders, and returnable materials. Lead and train warehouse personnel on nuclear quality, material traceability, preservation, and documentation requirements. Maintain readiness for internal, client, and regulatory audits. Work with construction teams to maintain appropriate Min/Max inventory levels to support efficient field execution. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor’s or master’s degree and 10-17 years of relevant experience or 16-19 years of relevant work experience with no degree. Must possess legal right to work in US without sponsorship. Must be able to pass nuclear security screening requirements and be able to obtain and maintain unescorted access to a nuclear power facility. Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check which includes verification of employment and education. Required Knowledge and Skills: 10-17 years of warehouse, inventory, or materials management experience in industrial, EPC, or nuclear projects. Strong knowledge of Bechtel materials processes, receiving, storage, preservation, and traceability requirements. Experience with digital supply chain systems such as DSCS, BPS, MAP, ETA, or SiteSense. Strong communication and leadership skills, with proven ability to coordinate across multi‑disciplinary teams. Understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, quality, and startup interfaces associated with material handling.
