The area provides a balance of small-town living and essential services, making it an inviting place for healthcare professionals seeking a fulfilling work environment and quality of life.Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with Pediatric specialty Experience in pediatric patient care and clinical nursing practices Proficiency with electronic medical records, preferably EPIC system Ability to adapt within the same discipline across multiple local campuses Must have a taxable address more than 60 miles from the facility Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and manage care plans Utilize clinical knowledge and skills in patient assessment, planning, and implementation Participate in floating assignments within the discipline as required Adhere to facility standards, policies, and procedures Contract Details and Schedule: Contract position with orientation sessions every Monday Night shift coverage of approximately 16 hours per week Work weeks typically range from 36 to 40 hours, with overtime billable beyond 40 hours Compensation and Perks: Additional pay for overtime, holidays, callbacks, on-call hours, and charge/precepting responsibilities Competitive multipliers for holiday and callback shifts Opportunities for overtime and flexible scheduling This contract role allows healthcare professionals the chance to apply their pediatric nursing expertise in a supportive and engaging setting.
