Warehouse Worker / Clerk Overview: We are seeking a Warehouse Worker/Clerk for our industrial-grade connector and customized cable solutions facility. This is a temp-to-hire position, with the potential for full-time employment based on performance. Our facility emphasizes cleanliness, offers a temperature-controlled environment, and has an on-site cafeteria. The schedules available are: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM and 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM. In this position you will need good computer skills and experience with general warehouse tasks: picking, packing, loading, unloading, and rf scanner use. Responsibilities + Process orders using a computer, requiring good computer skills and attention to detail. + Tasks may vary based on current needs, including putting away skids via a pallet jack, picking and packing orders, and lifting packages. + Use an iPhone that operates as an RF Scanner for picking, packing, and inventory purposes. + Be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Essential Skills + 1+ year general warehouse experience. + Experience in picking and packing. + Previous use of an RF scanner. + Reliability and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Forklift certification or experience is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $26.10/hr.
