Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Danvers, Massachusetts. In this Contract to permanent role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. u2022 Prepare and execute check runs in a timely manner. u2022 Assist in managing accruals to support accurate financial reporting. u2022 Collaborate with the accounting team to complete month-end close activities. u2022 Resolve discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries promptly. u2022 Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions for auditing purposes. u2022 Monitor payment schedules to avoid late fees and ensure timely disbursements. u2022 Support the implementation of best practices to improve accounts payable processes. u2022 Generate financial reports related to accounts payable as needed. u2022 Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and internal controls. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable or a related role. u2022 Proficiency in managing check runs and accruals processes. u2022 Familiarity with month-end close procedures. u2022 Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. u2022 Excellent organizational and time management skills. u2022 Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. u2022 Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
