Job Title: Maintenance Technician 30-38/hr Job Description A Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing overall maintenance support for plant operations and equipment. The role involves resolving day-to-day technical problems on production lines and ensuring machinery compliance with production procedures and process specifications. The technician will perform skilled maintenance and repair services of production plant systems such as mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic production line systems. Responsibilities + Resolve day-to-day technical problems on production lines and ensure machinery compliance with production procedures and process specifications. + Perform skilled maintenance and repair services of production plant systems such as mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic production line systems. + Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track all work. + Ensure tasks are completed in a safe manner to achieve Quality, Service, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Cost Objectives. + Collaborate with other team members and departments to identify and address maintenance needs. + Proactively identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for optimizing equipment performance. + Properly troubleshoot and maintain production lines and/or batching/processing equipment. + Follow established maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly serviced and maintained. + Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner. + Maintain a clean and organized work area, properly storing tools and equipment. + Communicate effectively with management and other team members regarding maintenance activities and any issues that may arise. + Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and address them proactively. Essential Skills + Industrial maintenance experience. + Electrical troubleshooting. + Mechanical maintenance. + 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing maintenance with prior diagnostic, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance experience. + Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC), mechanical, electrical, lubrication, fabrication, pneumatic, and hydraulics. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, lubrication, and fabrication experience are required. + Prior welding experience is preferred. + High school Diploma or GED equivalent; an Associate's or technical degree is preferred. + Ability to achieve a passing score at the tech 1 level of the Maintenance Technician Entry test. + Ability to operate a forklift and high reach.
