We invite you to join our team!What You'll Do:Drivers at our centers are responsible for safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments, outings, and other destinations. Your friendly demeanor and reliable service will ensure residents receive the medical assessment and care necessary for their rehabilitation and well being.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely drives residents to medical appointments, outings, and other destinations according to assigned scheduleAdheres to traffic laws, regulations, and facility policies to ensure the safety of passengers and others on the roadAssists residents into and out of vehicleSecures passengers’ wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs while drivingCommunicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to coordinate transportation schedules and ensure resident needs are metCommunicates with administrative staff regularly to receive instructions or report dealys and disruptions of serviceMaintains the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, performing routine inspections, refueling and immediately reporting maintenance needsKeeps records of trips and behavior of passengersIf you're a reliable and compassionate individual with an excellent driving history and passion for helping others, we would like to meet you!
