Job Description A large energy client is seeking Liftra Operators. These individuals will be responsible for the maintenance, large component replacement, and repair of wind turbine generators throughout the US. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complicated mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on variable pitch/variable speed turbines, helping in all areas of site preparation (coordination of labor and materials), documenting all work performed using computer-based service reporting procedures, and communicating site status to engineers, customers, and management. Active GWO certifications (BTT, ART, BST) LT 1200 Certification (HIGHLY PREFERRED) Bachelors degree in technical, electrical, or electronics field Technical certifications in wind energy/electrical/electronics field Ability to reach/understand electrical schematic drawings Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, procedures, and regulations Experience with heavy equipment with a working knowledge of crane and rigging requirements
