Position Overview: As a welder, you will be responsible for the production of highly engineered, custom built components in accordance with product specifications, engineering drawings, work orders, and quality procedures. You will be expected to complete work using mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic assembly techniques as well as welding, electrical wiring, and hitching on overhead cranes and jobs. Minimum Qualifications: u00b7 High School Diploma or equivalent. u00b7 Certified welder, preferred u00b7 2 years MIG experience, preferred u00b7 3-5 years in a custom build shop, preferred. u00b7 Ability to read and understand blueprints AND read and interpret 3D prints/schematics. u00b7 Ability to operate a computer to read and input data. u00b7 Ability to operate hand tools and read measuring devices. u00b7 Possess basic math skills. u00b7 Mechanical aptitude, think critically and troubleshoot problems. u00b7 Ability to stand for approx. 10 hrs. per day as well as bend, climb, reach, kneel occasionally. u00b7 Lift a minimum of 25lbs on oneu2019s own but not more than 50lbs unassisted.
