Job Title: General Laborer Job Description We are seeking a motivated General Laborer to join our construction team. You will assist in building and repairing modular office units used as field offices on job sites. We offer a stable and permanent position with opportunities for cross-training and advancement. Responsibilities + Construct and assemble modular office units according to blueprints. + Build walls, floors, ceilings, and other structural components. + Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials. + Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations. + Collaborate with electricians and plumbers to complete projects. + Perform maintenance and repairs on existing modular office units. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment. + Follow all safety protocols and procedures. Essential Skills + 6+ months of experience as a carpenter's helper/handyman in commercial or residential construction. + Ability to use a tape measure. + Reliable transportation. + Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. + Strong mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Good physical stamina and strength. + Effective communication and teamwork skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship or vocational training program. + Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in modular construction. Why Work Here?
