Become a maker of possible with us.JOB SUMMARY:The Quality Manufacturing Representative’s primary functions are to assure manufacturing operations meet the quality system requirements, product is released to sterilization and shipping after review of documentation and assisting Quality engineers with quality issues. This position will also provide training, guidance, and input on quality issues to the manufacturing floor. This position will also audit compliance to the quality policy and procedures. The incumbent will participate in continuous improvement and other plant initiatives as needed in support of business goals. This position reports directly to a Quality Engineer.HOURS: 7AM - 7PMESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs review of manufacturing documentationReleases product to the next stage of manufacturing or shippingFollows up on manufacturing issues with appropriate partiesPerform complete inspection of product according to applicable specificationsReports issues to the Quality Engineers and assist as needed with quality related issues Document all inspections as requiredUpdate all reports and databases as required for reporting and tracking purposesPossess knowledge of Quality System Regulations Ensure manufacturing associates are properly trained using documented inspection techniquesMust perform duties and maintain knowledge to conduct inspections and tasks among all manufacturing/molding departmentsApply and interpret ANSI Z1.4 and other sampling plans for predicting percent defective and lot acceptance criteriaConduct routine product and process audits to assure compliance to the quality system.Maintain a clean and safe work environmentHold self-accountable to follow all safety policies & proceduresGood Manufacturing PracticesPerform all other miscellaneous duties as appropriately directed by Quality ManagementREQUIREMENTS:HS diploma/GEDProficient at reading / writing EnglishGood attention to detailAbility to give/receive feedbackTeam player able to work well with othersPlan / Organize tasks based on priority and timelinesTake initiative (see what needs to be done and do it)On the job training provided, however, but be a rapid learnerAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
