Your precision, problem-solving skills, and teamwork ensure every scope is covered and aligned with project goals. By supporting smart planning and strong execution, you play a key role in driving growth and excellence across our commercial construction projects.Key ResponsibilitiesEstimate Preparation & AnalysisAnalyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate scopes of work and detailed cost estimatesIdentify labor, material, and time requirements to support competitive and complete bid packagesDevelop cost-effective and labor-efficient schedules for project executionMaintain and update cost databases for accuracy and future referencePresent estimates by compiling and summarizing numerical and descriptive data for internal and client reviewProject & Bid Management Maintain Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing finished quotes prior to turning the quote over to the Sales RepresentativePrioritize assigned projects and prepare estimates for bid through effectively performing take-off tasks on projects where requiredPursue contract buy down after award of project from both the material suppliers and subcontractorsMiscellaneousSupport our values in the stand areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customersOther duties as assignedQualificationsCollege degree or equivalent combination of construction industry experienceTwo years in the construction industry, with emphasis in the specific fields of Doors, Frames, Hardware, and SpecialtiesGreat communication and problem-solving skillsHighly productiveStrong interpersonal skillsProficiency with estimating software (e.g. Bluebeam, EPWS.)Strong attention to detail and accuracyExperience in the construction industry is a plusAbility to communicate effectively and professionallyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh degree of ownership for projects, a sense of urgency and strong follow-throughReports ToDirector of SalesCompensation The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market.
