Hiring Forklift Operators in Thief River Falls - $19/hr (6am-4:30pm M-Th) Job Description As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production line by picking parts, hardware, and subassemblies from the warehouse. You will spend approximately 70% of your time operating a forklift, with additional responsibilities including loading and counting parts by hand. You will work from a printed pick sheet that outlines bin locations and delivery points on the production line. Responsibilities + Operate a forklift to transport parts and materials. + Pick and deliver items as per the production line requirements. + Perform inventory counts and assist in unloading trucks to restock shelves. + Work with a printed pick sheet to locate and deliver parts accurately. + Ensure accuracy in counting and recording parts. Essential Skills + Proficient in forklift operation. + Experience in inventory management. + Ability to handle materials and perform parts picking. + Knowledge of using an RF scanner. + Competency in reading and writing clearly. + Understanding of part numbers and locations. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Minimum of 6 months experience in forklift or equipment operation. + RF Scanner experience is advantageous. + Training and certification will be provided in the first week. The work schedule is from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with frequent Friday shifts for weekly preparation. The warehouse team also works during line shutdowns, such as holiday periods, to conduct inventory.
