Description Staffing Coordinator Shift: Full TimeRate: $18 to $22/hr. (depending on experience) The Scheduler is responsible for the daily scheduling of all nursing department staff, including filling out the staffing report sheet daily for CNA, LPN and RN hours, updating it to reflect any staffing changes. They work closely with HR with payroll, orientation, and employee status changes. What You’ll Do + Coordinate daily and weekly staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all nursing units. + Monitor call-offs, arrange coverage, and communicate updates with supervisors and team members. + Track and manage time-off requests, shift swaps, and attendance records. + Collaborate closely with HR and nursing leadership to support staffing needs and retention goals. + Maintain compliance with state and facility staffing requirements. + Build strong relationships with staff by being approachable, fair, and solution focused. What We’re Looking For + Prior scheduling, staffing, or healthcare office experience preferred. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software (experience with UKG/other healthcare systems a plus). + A positive, team-oriented attitude and a passion for supporting frontline caregivers.
