JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Starting salary for Universal Bankerposition is $19.50 an hour and up, depending on experience. What is theUniversal Banker position? Under direct supervision of an AssistantBranch Manager or Community President, this position is responsible forassisting customers in a dual role (40% Platform/60% Teller) focused ondelivering outstanding service with every customer interaction. TheUniversal Banker I will perform teller transactions, service existingcustomers, and offer product and service solutions to existing customersor prospects when appropriate and beneficial. The Universal Banker I isresponsible for completing all training, passing Banker Certificationwithin 18 months of hire/promotion date and demonstrate their ability tomeet/exceed customer and job expectations prior to progressing toUniversal Banker II. What are your responsibilities in the position?Efficiently process customer transactions with a high level ofintegrity, accuracy and knowledge. Operates in full compliance withinternal policies/procedures, as well as applicable regulations/laws.Offer bank products to existing customers and/or prospects using theestablished sales process while maintaining sales and proceduralproficiency in all services. Accurately open, maintain, and closedeposit accounts and services. Identify, expand and deepen customerrelationships by profiling customers in an effort to recommendappropriate products and services that meet customer needs. Makereferrals to other appropriate lines of business including ResidentialLending, Business Banking, Commercial Real Estate, WIS and MerchantServices to meet customer needs. Engage in reactive sales and cross-sellactivities, including service-related activities, making outboundonboarding and campaign calls and follow-up with customer as appropriateand on referrals received. Answer customer questions and resolve relatedaccount issues, including phone and in-person. Maintain knowledge ofWSB's core processing system, WSB products and services, WSB policiesand procedures, and regulatory requirements governing retail depositaccounts. Focus on the skills and attributes in order to complete theBanker Certification process Perform other duties as assigned.
