In this ole, you will be responsible for leading daily shipping and receivingoperations in the warehouse, ensuring accurate, timelyinbound and outbound shipments. This role supervises warehouse staff,coordinates with internal departments to meetdelivery requirements, maintains inventory accuracy, and drives processimprovements. The supervisor also ensurescompliance with safety and regulatory standards while providing clearleadership and direction to the team.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to thefollowing:Direct and supervise the activities of the shipping and receiving teamto ensure timely and accurate processing ofshipments.Train, mentor, and coach shipping and receiving personnel to improveperformance and enhance productivity.Ensure that all shipped and received products meet quality standards andadhere to company policies andprocedures.Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee the organization andstorage of incoming and outgoing goodswithin the warehouse facility.Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy,completeness, and condition of shipments.Directs the movement of the shipping and receiving platform to storageand work areas.Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement measures tooptimize shipping and receivingoperations.Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and relateddocumentation. Generate reports as required to rack key performance indicators (KPIs) and departmental metrics.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customsregulations, import/export laws, and safetystandards.Enforce safety regulations and procedures to create a safe workingenvironment for employees and minimize the riskof accidents or injuries.Other duties as assigned.Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of thisposition.PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENTThe physical demands described here are representative of those anemployee must meet to successfully perform theessential functions of this job. Theemployee must be comfortable working aroundwarehouse equipment, forklifts, and moving materials, and may berequired to wear appropriate personal protectiveequipment (PPE)
