We also provide an extensive total rewards compensation system, including:Bonus payments every 6 monthsRich health plansRetirement planning with our 100% company-paid Employee Stock Ownership TrustIf youre mechanically inclined or technically savvy with a passion for cutting-edge technology, we want to hear from you.Position Summary:Performs shipping and packing of finished goods and products by performing the following duties:Essential Functions:Follows product packaging specifications outlined in work instructions manual, engineering control plans, or as requested by customerWraps product in protective material, builds boxes, places product in box, weighs box and verifies quantity, secures box with nail, glue, or other sealant, labels box, and records packaging information on appropriate shipping documentsInspects products prior to packing and wrapping to establish packing specificationsReviews engineering control plan as well as notes on customer orders to verify packing specificationsInspects products prior to packing to insure no visible breakage or cosmetic damage has occurredInforms Shipping Leadership if product does not ship according to scheduleResponsible for adherence to the Aerotech, Inc. quality assurance programAdditional Duties:Assisting in cleanup and equipment moves as requested by Production or other departmentsAs assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosEffective communication skillsKnowledge of general math skillsPrecise, consistent work outputMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or trainingEquivalent combination of education and experience may be consideredForklift experience preferredMust complete forklift operator course or forklift review course within six months of employmentExperience operating power tools (e.g., saws, drills, nail guns)Valid Drivers LicenseMust be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. Aerotech does not provide US work authorization sponsorship for this position.
