Ditmas Park Nursing & Rehab - Ditmas Children’s Nursing & Rehab Respiratory Therapist Ditmas Children's Nursing & Rehab is looking for a kind and compassionate Respiratory therapist to join our amazing team. This is a great and unique opportunity to work with a dynamic interdisciplinary healthcare team to treat children of varying diagnoses in a pediatric nursing facility. The individual should have a positive attitude, good energy, and a passion to serve the pediatric population with healthcare needs in the Brooklyn and NYC areas. This is a Full Time/ Per-Diem position. We are looking for weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed. Job Description: Consult with medical provider to develop patient treatment plans. Treat patients by using variety of methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications. Monitor and record medical progress. Initiates, monitors, and weans patients from mechanical ventilation. Administration of oxygen therapy. Be part of a team that focuses on residents pulmonary and rehabilitative function. Must have excellent interpersonal skills Qualifications & Job Requirements: A graduate of a nationally approved respiratory care program. New York State respiratory licensure. BLS required.
