Description We are looking for a skilled Real Estate Assistant Fund Controller to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and experience in financial operations within the real estate sector. The position requires a proactive individual who excels in financial reporting, auditing, and general ledger management. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee month-end closing processes and ensure timely completion of all financial tasks. u2022 Manage general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. u2022 Conduct and coordinate financial statement audits, collaborating with internal and external auditors. u2022 Prepare detailed financial reports that align with organizational and regulatory requirements. u2022 Maintain adherence to DCAA regulations and standards in all financial operations. u2022 Monitor fund performance and provide insights to support decision-making processes. u2022 Collaborate with various teams to streamline accounting procedures and improve efficiency. u2022 Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions. u2022 Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and best practices in real estate finance. u2022 Support ongoing projects and initiatives requiring financial expertise. Requirements u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. u2022 Proven experience in public auditing, with exposure to the real estate industry preferred. u2022 Strong understanding of month-end close processes and general ledger management. u2022 Familiarity with DCAA compliance and financial reporting standards. u2022 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a detail-oriented approach. u2022 Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools. u2022 CPA certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
