You will support the removal and replacement of aging underground fuel storage tanks that serve critical public agencies, including NYCDEP, FDNY, and DSNY. These facilities power essential city operations, from fire response vehicles to sanitation fleets.In this role, you will work on complex tank removal and replacement projects involving gasoline and diesel storage systems located within active municipal facilities and large vehicle garages. Join us and help deliver infrastructure that serves the community every day.In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:Plan and support environmental investigation and remediation activities in the field and officeCollect groundwater, soil, and soil vapor samples using established proceduresSupport site investigations and inspections at regulated facilities to evaluate environmental complianceReview environmental regulations and maintain working knowledge of environmental programs and best practicesPrepare technical documents such as investigation reports, monitoring reports, remediation summaries, project proposals, and cost estimatesPrepare inspection reports and recommend follow-up or corrective actions as neededAssist with project budgeting and track costs throughout the project lifecycleProvide technical support related to compliance activities, audits, or enforcement mattersTrack compliance commitments and coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders to address technical or schedule issuesSupport coordination with regulatory agencies, project partners, and community stakeholders on environmental topicsWhat you’ll bring to our firm:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering5+ years of environmental investigation, remediation, inspection, or compliance experienceExperience with field sampling programs and environmental monitoring activitiesFamiliarity with environmental regulations and compliance frameworksExperience preparing technical reports, project documentation, and cost estimatesProficiency with MS Office applicationsExperience with environmental data management or reporting systems preferredOSHA 10 or higherA valid drivers license.Strong written and verbal communication skillsCompensation:The range for this position is salary range is $85,000 - $104,000.
