Machine Operator u2013 Production (Food Manufacturing) Pay: $16.00u2013$18.00/hr+ (more possible with strong, no-gaps experience) Location: Lynwood area, IL Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire ( Kelly Services 3u20136 months with opportunity to hire on) Shift Options: 6:00 AM u2013 6:00 PM OR 6:00 PM u2013 6:00 AM Schedule: Monu2013Thu (12-hour shifts) + Fri/Sat overtime as needed ( time-and-a-half ) Start: ASAP (once requirements are completed) From the desk of your recruiter: This is for people who like being accountable for equipment. What Youu2019ll Do u2022 Operate production equipment (conveyors and dough-handling/packaging lines) u2022 Monitor performance and make safe adjustments to keep product within spec u2022 Record counts, downtime, materials used, and waste (documentation matters) u2022 Escalate mechanical issues quickly; partner with leads/maintenance u2022 Follow GMP/sanitation standards and keep area audit-ready What Iu2019m Looking For (Apply Only If You Meet These) u2022 2-3+ years (No Gaps) machine operator experience (2+ preferred) u2022 Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred u2022 Comfortable with basic troubleshooting and production documentation u2022 Strong attendance and comfort working in cold conditions What You Need to Be Ready For u2022 Cold environment (down to ~30u00b0F at times) u2022 Steel-toe boots required daily u2022 Strict GMP dress code (same as above) Pre-Hire Requirements (Must Be Completed) Screenings (required before hire): u2022 Social Security verification u2022 County criminal background check u2022 I-9 verification (identity/work authorization documents) Scheduled Onsite Step (required before hire): u2022 GMP training video + 10-panel drug swab (NO THC) u2022 Time needed: ~40 minutes total Timing note: Background clearance typically takes 2u20137 business days .
