Youu2019ll be: + Performing clerical, bookkeeping, and accounting duties + Assisting with vouchering invoices, opening mail, and scanning invoices into the Collegeu2019s Perceptive scanning system + Maintaining accounting records for projects and programs + Maintaining student financial records and preparing reports to reconcile for accuracy + Interpreting computer reports and preparing journal entries + Assisting in the interpretation of federal regulations and applying them to the collection of student accounts + Acting as a liaison representative with collectors, internal personnel, and external agencies + Handling college account payables (e.g. vendor invoices, check requests, purchase orders, etc.) + Handling college account receivables (e.g. third-party billing, escrows, student refunds, Tuition Incentive Program (TIP), etc.), banking issues, collections, grants, and various other projects + Operating office equipment and maintaining, cleaning, and arranging for service of equipment when necessary + Training and directing college student personnel with appropriate approval This job might be an outstanding fit if you: + Have an earned Associate Degree or higher in Accounting, or Business Administration (with a concentration in Accounting) OR have any Associate Degree or higher with successful completion of 16 college credit hours in Accounting + Are proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel + Have keyboard proficiency of 35 wpm + Have two (2) years of accounting or bookkeeping experience What happens next: Once you apply, youu2019ll proceed to the next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
