JOB REQUIREMENTS: OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANYFox TV Stations FOX TelevisionStations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stationsin the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largestdesignated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, includingthe three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of thesestations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition todistributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, ourtelevision stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours oflocal news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor andadvertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content. JOBDESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Editor FOX6 Milwaukee is looking for a VideoEditor who is passionate about making visual stories come to life. FOX6produces more local news that anyone in the market and we need acreative editor to showcase the stories that need to be told. We'd love to have you on our teamRESPONSIBILITIES: You will be tasked with editing daily news and sportsstories for live broadcasts, our station website and all current andfuture media platforms. You will brainstorm with producers, reportersand photographers to make the news pop on screen and provide impactfulcontent to our audience across all platforms. We have high journalisticstandards of fairness, and you must maintain that standard in everystory you edit. QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates must haveexperience using standard broadcast non-linear editing, preferablyEdius. 1 year of editing experience preferred but not required. You musthave excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must be ableto meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.The ability to edit with speed, efficiency and creatively whileproducing high quality content is required. You must be able todemonstrate good judgement and decision-making skills. You must have aproven track record of dependability and the ability to work a varietyof schedules to meet company needs. A two- or four-year college degreeis preferred. We will consider for employment qualified applicants withcriminal histories consistent with applicable law.
