Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: u00b7 Perform specific cleaning and custodial tasks in the general upkeep, sanitation and cleanliness of the facility. u00b7 Disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment and supplies, using appropriate processes and germicides for cleaning equipment. u00b7 Perform other housekeeping duties, such as move and arrange furniture, turn mattresses, clean kitchens, cooking utensils, silverware, sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors as needed. u00b7 Launder soiled linens as directed. u00b7 Maintain adequate cleaning supplies for department/unit use. u00b7 Properly clean and store all equipment and supplies after each shift. u00b7 Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations and furniture for facility functions. u00b7 Responsible for stocking of supplies as needed u00b7 Follow all infection control measures. OTHER FUNCTIONS: u00b7 Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: u00b7 High School diploma or equivalent required. Associateu2019s degree preferred. u00b7 Previous experience in housekeeping in a commercial, clinical, or healthcare environment preferred. LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: u00b7 Valid state driving license, where required in the facility. u00b7 CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). u00b7 First aid may be required based on state or facility.
