Industrial Maintenance Technician- $32-$38/hr Job Description As a Maintenance Engineer, you will diagnose and troubleshoot issues with various equipment, including production and warehouse systems. You will perform repairs and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring equipment adheres to company standards. This role requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to effectively communicate with team members regarding equipment status and repair needs. Responsibilities + Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems, including production equipment, warehouse bay doors, electrical systems, and HVAC systems. + Repair equipment in accordance with established company standards. + Perform preventative maintenance, such as machine lubrication and conveyor belt replacement, following established guidelines. + Ensure equipment changeovers are conducted efficiently to minimize downtime. + Communicate with coworkers, internal customers, and supervisors about equipment repair status and needs. + Complete maintenance records, work order forms, and other required paperwork. + Order and maintain parts inventory. + Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop. + Work assigned schedule, including overtime as needed, and exhibit regular, predictable attendance. Essential Skills + Experience in electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. + Proficiency in motor repair and gearboxes. + Industrial maintenance experience on production equipment or completion of an Associate's/Trade School program. + Troubleshooting skills for hydraulic systems and electrical systems up to 480V. + Experience with conveyor systems, preventive maintenance, and overall equipment maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in bottling, plastics, ladder logic, VFD, motors, and filling systems. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is for the 3rd shift, from 11 PM to 7:30 AM, in a high-speed bottling plant. The plant is climate-controlled, clean, and well-maintained, requiring some travel between facilities. The work environment is food-grade, necessitating hair and beard nets in certain areas. You will be part of a large maintenance team, with a schedule provided weeks in advance to allow for personal planning. Be prepared to work in both hot summer and cold winter conditions.
