Maintenance Engineer $33-41/hr Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and troubleshooting on conveyors, automation, robotics, and ancillary equipment. This role requires meticulous documentation of maintenance activities and collaboration with team members to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities + Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics, and ancillary equipment. + Troubleshoot out-of-service equipment and correct issues, escalating to leadership + Record all maintenance issues in the maintenance log and document all work in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and ticketing systems. + Maintain accurate records of operating logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC equipment, and other facility systems. + Conduct root cause analysis of major downtime events. + Assist maintenance mechanics with tasks requiring collaboration or when operational needs demand. + Perform facility and building project work such as light bulb/ballast replacement, door repairs, furniture installation, ceiling tile replacement, carpentry duties, and plumbing repairs. + Assemble and test equipment to verify correct operation and production, analyzing and recording causes of production delays. + Examine defects, analyze spoilage causes, take corrective action, and verify the effectiveness of the action. Essential Skills + Proficiency in electrical and mechanical systems. + Experience with conveyor maintenance, 3-phase systems, and PLC troubleshooting. + Strong mechanical and pneumatics skills. + Experience in generator maintenance and forklift repair. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience (technical school experience can count towards this). + Strong troubleshooting aptitude. + Ability to work autonomously.
