As a Mechanical/Automation Engineer, a typical day will include the following:Perform the following mechanical engineering functions:a. DFM:Design review & feedbackSolution Integration:Deliver and implement designs/solutions on the production floorQualify, integrate, and monitor automation implementations.Create detailed designs and prepare CAD data, coordinate changes to existing designs.Generate and maintainaccurate Bills of Material.Provide accurate labor and material estimates.Write and/or conduct experiments.Writeandmaintainaccurate project notebooks, system documentation, and work instructions.Participate in system specifications, system design, and design reviews.Manage a technical teamfor project(s)deliveringsolutions within schedule and budget constraints.Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing principles.Understand.
