Our client, a leading organization in the financial technology sector, is seeking a IT Project Manager (Cybersecurity) to join their team. As a IT Project Manager (Cybersecurity), you will be part of the Cybersecurity department supporting various security initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: IT Project Manager (Cybersecurity) Location: Columbus, OH, Berkeley Heights, NJ, Alpharetta, GA (potentially) What's the Job? + Lead and manage cybersecurity-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. + Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver application development, infrastructure, or security remediation projects. + Maintain control over project scope, schedule, budget, and resources independently. + Communicate effectively with technical teams, including engineers, developers, and architects, to ensure project success. + Develop and report on project dashboards to provide visibility to leadership and stakeholders. What's Needed? + Proven experience managing technology-focused projects within cybersecurity, application development, infrastructure, or M&A environments. + Certification such as PMP or equivalent project management credentials. + Proficiency in JIRA, Microsoft Project, and Power BI or Azure DevOps for reporting and dashboard creation. + Strong understanding of SDLC and project management lifecycle methodologies. + Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse, cross-functional teams.
