Job Description Role Overview The Mechanical Assembly Supervisor leads and coordinates mechanical assembly activities for High Voltage GIS equipment. This role supervises mechanics and installers, interprets technical drawings, and ensures precise installation in accordance with clients installation, quality, and safety standards. The supervisor plays a key role in managing union labor resources, maintaining schedules, and promoting a safe, clean, and efficient installation environment. Key Responsibilities u2003u2022 Supervise and coordinate mechanics and installers assembling High Voltage GIS equipment u2003u2022 Lead mechanical installation activities with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and safety u2003u2022 Interpret and analyze technical drawings to guide installation processes and procedures u2003u2022 Manage union contractor resources, including work assignment, motivation, and performance oversight u2003u2022 Ensure installation activities follow established processes, timelines, and schedules u2003u2022 Exercise sound judgment in installation decisions, considering cost, quality, and operational impact u2003u2022 Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety guidelines u2003u2022 Promote teamwork, clear communication, and adherence to work instructions We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
