Your expertise will support the mission of providing quality healthcare to patients ranging from infancy to elderly adults.Qualifications and Desired Experience:Completion of a nursing program accredited by a recognized nursing education institution.Preferred: Minimum one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting.Active Registered Professional Nurse license in good standing in the State of Alaska.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Proficient with standard office equipment (computer, telephone, fax, copier).Skilled in medical equipment use, such as EKG and cystoscopy.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to provide nursing care consistent with Alaskas nursing practice petent in managing patient care across the continuum.Flexibility in work schedule and ability to perform independently within defined limits.Knowledge of medical terminology and nursing processes.Basic nursing and EKG skills.Critical thinking skills for interpreting diagnostic information and healthcare documentation.Experience with supervising support staff, collaborating with charge nurses.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.Administer treatments and medications as terpret diagnostic test results.Provide patient, family, and caregiver education.Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.Document clinical interventions and patient responses accurately.Supervise unit secretaries and patient care technicians in partnership with charge nurses.Location:Work in a unique healthcare setting located in Akiachak, Alaska.
