Company DescriptionJob DescriptionTheAssociate Art Director supports theSr. Art Directors /Creative Director in concepting and executing seasonal editorial imagery campaigns that push theA&F family ofbrandsforward. This includes Abercrombie&Fitch and Your Personal Best (YPB) active wear by Abercrombie. They will collaborate with photography, styling, design, product, and strategy teams to develop and share the creative vision each season for theA&Fbrand. This individual would be accountableforideating andsupportcreating original branded content, along with fostering the organization and cross-functional partnershipsrequiredto execute against the overall brand strategy.What Will You Be Doing?Working closely with theSr. Art Directors /Creative Director on the conceptual development and execution ofA&FAdultsseasonal editorial campaigns.Building theA&F brandhandwriting for a new generation of consumers, building off existing brand foundationsPre Production:Supportthe conceptingandplanningof A&Fseasonal photoshootsby compiling imagery for mood boards,organizingand updatingproduction details for internal presentations,model casting,communicatingwith third party production companies/vendorsonall aspects of shoot production. Aswellbuildingand updatingpre-production decks forexternalshoot teams(in collaboration with Sr AD). Post Production:Supporting Sr. AD/Creative Directoronfinalizingphotography anizing imagery of all mediumsthrough tofinalization.Collaborating as neededinpost-production with retouching and design partners,organizingwithin A&F platforms. Team Collaboration:Collaboratingclearly and effectively with the broader creative team, including A&F AD’s, Studio AD’s, Social AD’s, Styling and Video teams.Ensureall seasonal visuals and content are synergized, telling focused brand stories and fulfilling deliverables across all channels for the A&F brand.Supporting inbothpreparingand leading presentations ofideas/projects to cross functional partners and all levels of leadership.Team Organization:Always on maintenance of casting, image, location databases for current and future planning. Other projects and responsibilities as assigned- including supportingA&F family of brandsand the A&F Studio.What Do You Need To Bring?Bachelor’s degree in Design, Photography,Advertisingor related experience2+ years of art direction experience in fashion retail or a related industry On set photoshoot experience Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Capture One, Keynote,Figmaand Mural programsExperience collaborating with large cross-functional teams.This role requires clearcommunication and presentation skills.The Associate AD must be detail orientedand be able to prioritize/bring urgency to tasks as needed.
