This is a Senior Project Manager position designed to develop and grow the right candidate. A professional and positive image must be consistently displayed by the employee.Ensure all company, client, and project policies/procedures are adhered to as specified.Generate estimates, prepare and review project proposal or plan to determine and establish a timeframe, work plan, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the projectOversee the project through administrative direction of on-site supervision to ensure the projectis built following design, budget, and schedule. Includes interfacing with the customer to validate expectations are understood and met before, during, and after project completionPlan, coordinate, and/or manage activities of all company personnel and subcontractors on assigned project(s)Generate billings and lead the collections process for projectsFrequent project visits with field supervision and other personnel to understand any progress, needs, or issues. Assist in the planning of future labor/material needs of the projectEnsure timely procurement and delivery of materials to the jobsite by working directly with vendorsBuild long term relationships with both the clients and fellow employees by consistently meeting expectations and offering innovative solutionsProvide consistent feedback and reports to the business unit vice presidentManage project review process with particular emphasis on financial forecastingProvide advice, guidance, mentoring, and direction to subordinates and other junior personnel toward the achievement of their personal development goalsResponsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing skills and competencies to enhance individual and team innovation and productivityResponsible for job site safety and adherence to company policies and national safety standards for personnel under their supervision.Support and participate in company-sponsored initiatives and activitiesREQUIRED:A College degree, journeyman’s license10+ years of experience in electrical contracting project management with a good understanding of electrical installationsProficient in architectural, electrical and mechanical drawingsStrong computer & Microsoft 365 skillsFamiliar withcomputer-basedestimating for an itemby item estimatingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust understand billing and collectionsExcellent organizational skillsExperienced in mentoring and managing project managers, assistant project managers and senior level trade professionalsAble to work independently as well as in a team environment30 Hour OSHA Certification is required within the first yearApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
