Priorities of the Maintenance Supervisor include management and execution of PM schedules, repair of any equipment that is needed to maintain maximum production rates and maintenance of an adequate spare parts inventory. A Plant Maintenance Supervisor generally supervises a department including Maintenance Technicians. This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week, weekends as required and also fulfill on-call duties for repairs and assistance.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environmentMaintain adequate inventories of spare parts and equipmentImmediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries to Production ManagerEnsure that all equipment is kept in a proper and safe working conditionPractice proper forklift operation and preventive maintenanceDirect and ensure that all scheduled Preventive Maintenance duties are completedMaintain facility housekeepingCommunicate with all plant personnelMaintain and build job skills through company training programsCommunicate with ADS support servicesTroubleshoot and repair equipment that is not operating properlyAssist with ADS support service team projectsEffectively manage UPTIME performanceUnderstand and practice ADS CORE VALUESJob Skills:Basic industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing and pneumatic skills including troubleshootingUnderstand purpose and proper use of small hand and power toolsUnderstanding of ADS manufacturing process including troubleshootingStrong time management and task prioritization skillsInventory managementSelf-motivationStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and communicate to other plant personnelFacility organizationBasic computer skillsEducational Requirements:High School/Vocational School Diploma or equivalentPreferred Experience:Prior maintenance supervisionPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift 75 poundsAbility to perform physical labor for extended periods of time in temperature extremesPosition requires full range of body motion including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting and ability to mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehiclesADS supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience, and background.
